Society, our environments and how individuals and communities have been historically “located” have an impact outside of therapy and supervision. These systemic and power societal dynamics often can find themselves played out in therapy and also in clinical supervision hence why it is key, for an anti-oppressive ethical and just therapy and supervisory service, to remain mindful of such realities.
